Gigabyte finally decided to roll out their Radeon R9 Fury WindForce graphics card (model: GV-R9FURYWF3OC-4GD). Gigabyte keeps the card cool with their triple-fan WindForce 3X cooling solution, which is much like the one found on their GTX 980 Ti offerings. The card features a full-length custom PCB board, not AMD’s shorter reference-design board.
The fans as well as the shroud on the card are all black, which we are accustomed to seeing on WindForce cards. The card also features a full back-plate.
The card will come with a slight factory overclock of 1010 MHz (compared to the 1000 MHz reference) and the memory will stay the same at 500 MHz. The card gets power from a pair of 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors. For display outputs you have dual-link DVI, HDMI 1.4a, and three DisplayPort connectors. No word yet on pricing or availability.
