A gaming PC is something that a lot of people crave for but few are able to buy the right ones, if at all they can buy them. Due to the high pricing & lack of availability of options available in the market today paired with very little knowledge in the field gaming PCs have just become something for the riches & not everyone can get one. Especially in India a budget gaming PC is not readily available due to the poor marketing of brands like alienware or mainly because they are over-whelmingly over priced.
So lets work out something shall we to overcome this problem?
ASSEMBLING A GAMING PC..
Many people do not realize how easy it is to put together a computer
system from parts. In fact, many systems that users build can outperform
purchased desktop computer systems. The biggest challenge of putting
together a computer system is typically finding what parts to buy. That is where this blog comes in.
Usually the media only reviews the top of the line gear, making it hard
to find a good low cost gaming rig. This guide is designed to try and
build a system that is dedicated to gaming that won't break the bank. It
may not be the flashiest system around, but it does play games very
well. It also only covers the core computer system that is only the CPU and the parts within, a monitor, speakers, keyboard mouse etc are not included.
The Budget Gaming PC Components
- CASE - Zebronics Fort Full Tower Cabinet
- PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W PSU
- MOTHERBOARD - Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
- PROCESSOR - AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300
- RAM - Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3
- GRAPHIC CARD - Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 250 1GB Boost DDR5
- HARD DRIVE - Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
- DVD - LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72 Internal Optical Drive
These are the parts that will make a great CPU that can run everything that you will throw at it including all the latest gaming titles.
You just need to get a monitor that you like though a 24' LED/LCD monitor is recommended along with any kind of a keyboard-mouse pair that you deem fit. Speakers can be 2.1 Sub-woofers and anything else is upto you.
Do use Windows 7 64bit edition for best performance.
For any other query related to this topic please feel free to contact me via comments, your problem would be solved ASAP.
which monitor should I buy around 7500rs
ReplyDeleteprice of windows 7 64 bit
For your monitor a Philips 222EL2SB/00 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor is recommended, though i would strongly suggest a 23-24" monitor if possible for gaming purposes. So try stretching your budget a little more like around 2500/- as you can get a LG E2360V PN 23" LED/LCD monitor.
DeleteYou can get Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit for around Rs 9000.
Please feel free to ask any further questions
I need a PC....my Budget is approx 30 Grands...Suggest me what should I go for......
ReplyDeleteI guess what you mean to say is that you want a complete PC in the RS 30000 range including keyboard and monitor.
DeleteI've just posted a new post keeping in mind your question here is the link:
http://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/06/budget-home-pc-for-your-kid-under-30000.html
Hope that its helpful enough.
which is a slim cabinet for the above config?
ReplyDeletea slim cabinet is not always recommended for gaming configuration due to the number of extra components it has over a common home PC but still you can go for the Cooler Master Elite 360. It is optimum for gaming and even comes in a slim form factor.
DeleteDo ask if you have any further questions.
Nice post, I need some help. I am going to assemble a PC for gamming and my budget is around 70 thousand excluding speakers, keyboards and mouse. And i am also confused between nvidea 660ti and amd ati 7950. Help thanks.
ReplyDeleteFor ~70k get:
Delete* AMD FX 8350 -- 12k
* ASRock 990FX Extreme4 Motherboard -- 10k
* G.Skill Sniper DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)-- 4.7k
* WD Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB HDD -- 3.8k
* Asus/Lite-On 24x DVD-RW -- 1k
* Cooler Master Elite 430 -- 2.8k
* Cooler Master Thunder 600 Watts PSU -- 4k
* LG E2351VR 23 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor -- 11k
* Logitech G-1 Gaming Desket -- 1.5k
* ATI/AMD Radeon HD 7950 -- 24.7k
Total ---- 75.5k
Your choice of GPU is very good but remember you need good supporting components even to give you the desired performance.
You can get a SSD with a better liquid cooler if you settle down for a little cheaper Graphic Card as this one is way too much and suited only for SLI configurations, I'll write an article soon on this configuration as well as on the SLI configuration till then consider my suggestions or get what I've told you.
Leave a query if you have any more confusions :)
Should I buy 8gb ram for photoshop purposes?
ReplyDeleteNot necessary even the latest Photoshop CS6 uses not more than 1Gb of RAM just install a 4Gb stick or a maximum of 6Gb stick if you want.
DeleteIf you have any more questions than do ask.
My friends said that I will face many software related problems if I assemble a Pc.Is it right?Should I buy a branded pc?
ReplyDeleteNo you will not until you keep all the parts from trusted manufacturers inside your rig. Local manufacturers should be avoided as they can be troublesome and will not deliver the performance that is expected or promised on the box.
DeleteGo for quality parts and use a 'compatible' configuration don't just keep throwing in the parts.
Your friend said that because in India its hard to find people with proper knowledge of computer hardware, so do your research on the net properly before buying an assembled system.
PS a good assembled PC is cheaper and can out-perform even a branded PC from a higher price tag.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
I just wanted to ask which one is better for gaming-AMD fx 4130 or intel i3 3220.And also which among these is better for programmes like maya and autocad?
ReplyDeleteThis is a very good question, you should go for the Intel i3 3220 simply because its better than the FX 4130 in single-threaded tasks like Gaming and even has a built in GPU to run your applications like Maya and AutoCad smoothly.
DeleteBut if you plan to play high-end games like Crysis3 or Tomb Raider than a quad-core processor like the FX 4130 is a must which even includes the feature of over-clocking so decide your choice according to your usage.
If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
Corsair CMV8GX3M1A1333C9 DDR3 8 GB - Is this RAM good? Its available for Rs.3850 in Flipkart.BTW Your blog has been a grat help for me.
ReplyDeleteIts not a RAM that i recommend as it lacks a lot of things that a RAM of this price range should have, it doesn't have a heat sink nor it has a very high frequency rate this means that it would not give the performance that a hardware of this range should.
DeleteGo for:
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM or
G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM
These are the best in the price range and are trusted by many, i even use the Vengeance so you can count on it.
Any further questions, feel free to ask.
I found that many sites are offering windows 7 for free.Is it right to download it or should I purchase it for rs 9000?
ReplyDeleteYou should always buy genuine software especially an OS, your whole system depends on it.
DeleteWith a legit copy you get free technical supports and assistance on your crashes and errors. A fake copy is not only ill-legal but even contains viruses, trojans and even backdoors to steal your private data.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
i need lcd monitor and cabinet of 500W under 8K and as ur information abov i hav zotak nvidia geforce GT430 synergy edition graphic card its supported in gigabyte motherboard, and suitable cabinet..
ReplyDeleteFirst of all there is no branded cabinet available in the market with a built in PSU except for the CM elite 310, so will have to get a cabinet and a PSU separately.
DeletePSU: Corsair VS550 550 Watt- Rs 3325
Monitor: Dell IN1930 18.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor- Rs 5751
A cheaper monitor would not give you the ideal performance for gaming keeping in mind your choice of Graphic Card, so go for this a bigger monitor like I've mentioned above for the minimum.
The motherboard can be any as you don't need a special motherboard with this graphic card just keep in mind the socket type of your processor as that would be the determining factor.
Cabinet can be the same that I've mentioned above without a PSU as you want a 500W and not the one that comes along with it.
Any further queries are welcome.
Will this combination be good
ReplyDeleteamd fx-6300
asrock 970 extreme 3
hd 7770
corsair vengeance 8gb
please give suggestion
*is asus better?(some of my friends said asrock always have fault)
*and is graphics card compatible ?(should i go for gtx)
*what would best case and powersupply under 6000?
Thanks in advance for you patience and reply
Yes it is a worthy combination and as for your questions:
Delete* Yes ASUS is a better brand than AsRock but this particular model won't disappoint you.
* You can go for any Graphic Card that you like Nvidia or AMD it won't matter both are good, though I recommend a AMD GPU with a AMD processor as they are made to give the optimum performance when coupled together.
* Get any case that you like they won't matter much as you are not building an extreme configuration so buy which ever you like but buy a Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU to make it future proof and a durable combination. Would be under ^k along with any cabinet like iBall etc or even the CM 310 Elite without a PSU.
Please feel free to ask any further questions.
Will asus be m5a97 r2.0 be better than asrock extreme?
DeleteThis is the ASUS M5A97 that you are referring to i guess.
DeleteIt depends on your needs. The Asus has USB 3.0 headers for a case that has USB 3.0 front ports. Also, the Asus has 6 SATA ports as opposed to 5 on the AsRock. However, the ASRock has an eSATA port which could come in handy if you have external drives you need to connect. The Asus has a 3 year warranty as opposed to ASRock which has 1 year warranty. Other than that, pretty much the same features.
If it were me, I would probably go with the Asus. But I don't think you would go wrong either way.
Please feel free to ask any further questions.
Sir, I want to assemble a gaming pc. Can u suggest a powerful machine for ₹30000 excluding graphics card as I will add that later and also will cut down on the ram to 2gb so u can suggest the latest config, I will add the graphics card and extra ram(which m planning to go upto 8gb), once I assemble your suggestions. Please help.
DeleteSure:
Delete*AMD 4.4 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300: 7579
*ASUS M5A97 LE Motherboard: 6750
*G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 2 GB (1 x 2 GB) PC RAM: 1450
*Seagate Barracuda 1 TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive: 4838
*LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72 Internal Optical Drive: 1047
*Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU: 3600
*Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet: 3841
Total ~29000
You are still left with 1k which would help you in your future purchases.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Thank you so much Sir.
DeleteSir, also can you suggest a good mini laptop 11.6" size, as I want to purchase one for my dad.
HP Pavilion dm1z that is the best netbook for your requirements.
DeleteKeep visiting and help us reach out more.
Which case is best
ReplyDelete*coolermaster elite 311
*coolermaster elite 344
*coolermaster cmp 250
CM Elite 344 and Elite 311 are almost the same whereas the CM CMP 250 is only good if you are on a budget. I recommend anyone between the Elite 311 or Elite 344....344 if you want a little more of a perky look.
DeletePlease feel free to ask any further questions.
hey i am planing to buy a gaming desktop, i play high end games and watch high def movies. but my budget is 35k just for the cpu. here is the config i wanna know if its good -
ReplyDelete1.) cooler master thunder 600 watts Psu
2) gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb 3 motherboard
3)amd fx 8350 processor
4) ram - corsair vengeance ddr3 8gb
5) graphics - sapphire amd/ati radeon hd 6670 1gb ddr5
6) hard drive - seagate barracudda 1 tb
7) dvd - lg gh24ns71 internal optical drive.
and also tell me which ups and monitor to buy with this.its not included in the budget.
regards
sagar v
This is a very decent config, 7/10 config for any purpose including gaming and high definition video playback and editing.
DeleteUPS can be any there is no difference in the quality of the UPS so go for anyone that you may feel like. For the monitor choose a 20'+ size so i recommend a Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor.....
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Sir, please tell me a config for gaming pc upto ₹33,000 should include everything mouse, monitor, cpu. Plz sir
DeleteThe above configuration is what you can follow just change the:
DeleteHDD to WD Caviar Blue 500 GB: 3578/-
Graphic Card to Gainward NVIDIA 1GB GDDR5 GT440 1 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card: 4999
You'll save around 2000/- from this giving you a surplus of 6000/-
Buy any keyboard mouse bundle from Lenovo, Dell or Microsoft costing you roughly around 700/-
And AOC E943SWNK 18.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor for a monitor would complete your setup.
Feel free to ask any further doubts if you have any.
i am planning for a cpu for under 35000...wanted to know the requirements for it for hardcore gaming plus i would connect it to my 24 inch Samsung LCD t.v... anythng special to be added for it please let me know
ReplyDeletethank you
The above config is suitable for you just replace the Graphic Card by ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 AMP! Edition 2 GB GDDR5. Also if you want get AMD 4.4 GHz AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 for a processor but that's a personal preference as the above is sufficient for hardcore gaming including Crysis3.
DeleteNo nothing in specific all the Graphic Cards have a HDMI port so that's not an issue and the Graphic Card that I've told you supports high resolutions so you will enjoy the experience on your LCD.
If you have any more doubts feel free to ask.
hi sir another question
Deletemy basic use would be doing stuff and rendering on revit, photoshop, 3 d max, rhino, v ray, photoshop and stuff...now i would also like to multi task like the rendering in going on one side and i can least surf the net. and ya of course the gaming part would kick in to, So my querry is that i need an configration supporting both my purposes. i and talked to many people and have two sets of configration please lemme know which is better
set 1
amd fx 8350
motherboard gigabite ga 78 lmt
8gb ddr3 ram
zotac nvidia geforce gtx 650i gddr5
500gb hard disk(please suggest)
nzxt lexa cabinet
set 2
intel i7 3770
motherboard intel 75en
8gb ddr3 ram
same graphic card and hard disk requirement
(though i am also thinking of changing the i7 to i5 due to budget)
let me know the appropriate config. so that my softwares work properly and games to.
please lemme know thank u
Yours is a very good question I must admit.
DeleteYou have almost the same requirements that I have from my system so from what all the experts say and from what I have experienced personally go for the below config:
-Processor should be AMD FX 8350
This will not only help you save cash but also the 8350 is a far better option than the i7 3770, it can out perform a 3570K leave alone the slower 3770.
http://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/06/intel-core-i5-3570k-vs-amd-fx-8350.html
-RAM should be nothing less than a Corsair Vengeance 8GB or a G-Skull Ripjaw 8GB module, they are strictly made for heavy duty work.
-HDD can be either Seagate Barracuda or the WD Caviar, both are quality products.
You won't face any problems if you get a good PSU of 600W either Coolermaster or Corsair. Also put up an extra fan even if you feel like to keep all your components cool.
Feel free to ask any further questions and do share the photograph of your rig when you get it via email or on our facebook page.
Hi I am first time here I want to buy cpu for gaming purpose. I have selected two rig, please tell me which is good for gaming and what will you prefer. Also give suggestions for cabinet and psu (I want it be not noisy)
ReplyDeleteFirst option
1) amd fx-6300
2) Asrock 970 extreme 4
3) xfx ati Radeon core edition 1gb ddr5
4) corsair vengeance ddr3 8 gb
Second option
1) intel i5 3470
2) intel Dh77eb mobo
3) corsair xms3 8 gb
4) sapphire ati Radeon hd 6670
You want it just for the gaming purpose and no extreme multitasking is needed so I'll suggest the second option with Intel i5 3470 as AMD FX 6300 is a 6-core processor which won't be much of a use to you, only go for it if you want to do a lot of multitasking or you are tight on budget right now as you still need to select a Cabinet and a PSU.
DeleteAny cabinet you can go for it won't matter much with this configuration....you can buy the Coolermaster Elite 310 if you want it simple or the Coolermaster HAF 912 which is my personal favorite.
PSU for this configuration would be a minimum of 550W so buy a Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU.
Please feel free to ask any further questions.
Sir i want to buy a pc.my budget is 35000.please suggest me a good configuration include monitor,OS.no graphics card needed i can buy one later.
ReplyDeleteYou can go for the above config just replace the processor with AMD FX 6300 if you like otherwise the FX 4100 works like a charm in all fields.
Deleteas for Intel you can buy a Intel Core i3-3210 though its not that powerful as the AMD ones, paired along with the Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard.
Dell IN2030M 20 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor would be good enough.
And as for the OS you have a very tight budget so buy the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Basic.
Hope the answer was helpful do ask any further questions if you have any.
AMD is not worth the money, guys! Save money and get Intel i5 for gaming- 2500k or 3570k. AMD is outdated and it is so worse in cpu intensive games, you'll end up regretting. i5 should be your preference especially 3570k.
ReplyDeleteFirst the Intel i5 3570K is a way more expensive processor than the FX 4100 or the FX 6300. So please read the article carefully before commenting.
DeleteSecond, the i5 has nothing special to it except for the fact that its a bit fast in single threaded processes in comparison to the FX 8350 which is the processor in its class. You compare the both personally and then comment on this blog.
We test every hardware enlisted on this blog personally before posting anything about it.......As for the record AMD is still better than intel processors in the 15K range, now don't mention the i7 as its way too expensive to be compared!
which motherboard is good for amd fx 6300 Gigabyte GA 78LMT or Asus M5A97
ReplyDeleteThe Asus M5A97 is the better out of the two so you can pick it up without a second thought.
DeletePlease feel free to ask any further questions.
which graphic card is better for fx 6300 sapphire hd 7770 or a xfx radeon R7770 core edition
DeleteThe processor doesn't matter in this case, you can buy anyone of those as they have the same architecture and memory type along with everything else.
DeleteBut if you want me to choose one then I'll get the Sapphire HD 7770 simply because its a bit more quieter than the XFX & consumes less power. You can even over-clock it if you want for the simple reason that it has an unlocked GPU core.
Any further questions are welcome.
Hi vishvesh I want to buy a good pc in Mumbai. under rs 30000 without monitor and dvd writer. I prefer Intel and Gigabyte motherboard.. I need the configuration ASAP.. Thanks
ReplyDeleteIf you want a PC with an intel processor and a gigabyte mobo then here is the config:
DeleteIntel 3.2 GHz LGA1150 4570 i5 4th Generation Processor- 14700/-
Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H Motherboard- 6000/-
Seagate Barracuda 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive- 3500/-
Transcend DDR3-1333 DDR3 4 GB PC RAM- 2400/-
Cooler Master Elite 310 with 400W Power Supply Mid Tower Cabinet- 4000/-
You can do without the cabinet that I've mentioned but if you want quality and durability then you should do for this one. Don't buy an i3 just to save money as its worthless with just two cores and out-dated. Graphic Card will not be necessary as its not a gaming PC and the i5 has built in intel HD4000 graphics to support all the graphic intensive applications like photoshop, maya and for HD movie playback.
If you have any further questions then feel free to ask me.
Thank but I forgot to mention I need it for gaming.. As I won't be doing any other heavy multitasking.. I will need a good graphics card at around 5500 rs plus a power supply.. Also suggest which will does version I should go for. Plz suggest.. Thanks..
DeleteFor gaming you can't get an Intel processor in this budget....the i3 is no good for gaming and will choke at the latest games like Crysis3 and Battlefield 4.
ReplyDeleteEither stretch your budget or buy an AMD CPU, which is a better option for gaming especially at medium budgets and a PSU will have to be atleast 400-500W which is why i suggested the above case it comes with a 400W PSU more power would again cost you more.
Give me a final upgraded budget and I'll give you the config also please make your last sentence a bit more clear its incomprehensible.
Hi vishvesh I have been thinking of this - i5 3570 3.40 ghz, Gigabyte GA-B75-D3V 32GB motherboard and for graphics card - radeon 7850, galaxy go force gtx 660 ti, HD7950 or 7970 what is review for this rig keeping aside the price factor. And lastly which windows should I go for 7 or 8 all this is for home use mostly GAMING.. Thanks..
DeleteThe whole concept of your rig is pretty confusing as you have picked up a very high end graphic card and coupled it along with a processor that will bottle-neck its ability. So get a Intel i5 3570K first of all or any other higher series processor like the i5 4XXX series or the i7 for the optimum experience.
ReplyDeleteAll these graphic cards are extremely powerful in their own categories so you can buy anyone that you like....buy the HD7850 over the 660ti if you plan to choose between them.
This rig will not give you a reason to complain for atleast next 5+years as the config is quite potent in all fields.
I'll recommend Windows 7 over 8 as most games including the latest releases are optimized for Win7 and not 8 as a matter of fact Windows 8 has some serious issues with games courtesy to the whole new structure.
Any further questions are welcome.
Hi Vishvesh,
ReplyDeleteI have listed some good hardware components for my gaming rig, please suggest me the best ones out of these. I am also open to your recommendation. The rig should last for atleast 5 years and most importantly will not be overclocking.
Budget is around 40000 INR - 42000 INR
CPU - AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor or AMD 8320 or 8350
Motherboard - Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 or Asus M5A97 or GIGABYTE 970A UD3 or MSI 970A-G43
RAM - 2x2GB or 2x4GB (dual channel) - Kingston Hyperx blu or Corsair
vengeance or GSkill Ripjaws or Partriot Sniper (1833)
HDD - 500 or 1 GB WD caviar blue or Seagate Baracudda - 7200 rpm, 6 G/Bs
GPU - Gigabyte Windforce or Asus Direct CU - GTX 650TI boost 2 GB or HD 7850 2GB
PSU - Corsair CX 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply or
SeaSonic S12II 520 Bronze certified
Case - NZXT Gamma or Antec X1 or Cooler Master N200 Advanced
Optical Drive - LG or ASUS 24x
Is this the best rig to go with for high end gaming at 1368*768 resolution? I am sure this will give me around 60 fps in most of the games, what say?
I know high end games look far more better on 1080p :) but right now I am not planning to upgrade my monitor. I am also looking forward to play Watch Dogs, GTA 5 .....
CPU- AMD FX 8350
DeleteMotherboard- Asus M5A97
RAM- GSkill Ripjaws 2x4GB
HDD- 1TB Seagate Baracudda
GPU- HD 7850 2GB
PSU- Corsair CX 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V
Case- NZXT Gamma
Optical drive- LG
This is a very nicely selected config all the parts are optimized to perform with each other and wouldn't be obsolete in near future.
You can play almost any game on this config at high to very high settings at a resolution of 1368*768 which is a very good thing.
If you have nay more queries then feel free to ask.
Will the AMD FX 8350 or say any FX series CPU support Asus M5A97 out of the box? Or will I need to flash the compatible BIOS?
ReplyDeleteYou can just plug the processor in the mobo and forget about it......these two hardwares are extremely compatible with eachother.
DeleteI'm using them personally so trust me.
hey will this configuration for 30,000 be enough for a gaming cafe. also please suggest a good cooling system and 21" lcd monitor
ReplyDeletethis config is more than enough for a gaming cafe.
Deletethe stock cooling provided in the case and the PSU is enough for this system also the graphic card has a nice cooling support......but if you want you can still install an extra exhaust fan at the back of the cabinet to assist the hardwares.
the Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor is a nice monitor which i'll recommend.
Further questions about the same are welcome.
Please see this thread and please help me if possible!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1866580/suggestions-upgrade-core-ingredients.html
First when it comes to computers then nothing is impossible at Computers and More!
DeleteYou want this PC for playing high-end games like Crysis3 and BF4, so never go for an intel i3 as that processor is very poor at gaming especially at the ones that love processing cores. The i5 is out of your budget so go for the FX 6300 or stretch your budget to get an i5 4430 or 4670. Change the motherboard even accordingly.
The graphic card is a good choice so no problems with that, go for Corsair VS550 550 Watt PSU and Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB RAM module.
Cabinet can be the NZXT LEXA S or the Cooler Master HAF 912.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
just curious when was your article posted just wanted to know if your configuration will work for 2014 games. 1 of my friend told me to consider 5000 less if im buying the parts from lamington road in mumbai. the price that you quoted for the configuration is that for first hand or second hand parts.i been told that a ram speeds up the computer. if the processor processes data quickly then whats the ram for
ReplyDeleteyes it will work fine on 1289x720 resolution this is the min resolution for the games with the highest demands like Crysis3 and Batllefield4.
DeleteThey are for first hand parts from Flipkart and yes you 'may' get them cheaper there so you can check on your own if you want.
A RAM in a lay man language speeds up the PC but the need of a good processor is of utmost importance. A ram stick just stores you data on itself for easy and fast loading whereas the processor processes the data to be presented in a displayable format with every code compiled together, then stored on the RAM.
In short a PC with a little less RAM but with a very good processor is far better than a PC with an old and weak processor along-with a huge amount of RAM memory.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Hey vishvesh plz help me my budget is 60000 to 65000 excluding monitor
ReplyDeleteCheck this latest post of mine and replace the motherborad with, ASRock 970 Extreme3 Motherboard and go for a cheaper cabinet if you like to.

I am happy to suggest a Biostar Motherboard.Since i have used it i can say they are very durable and has feature rich components and functions for a PC build up. For the RAM,you can use a Kingston Hyper X Blue D Ram for efficient results.
ReplyDeleteYes they are but the high level products of Biostar are good it has some issues in the lower range so I didn't recommend it.
DeleteThe Kingston Hyper X is a very good piece of RAM module I recommend it to a lot of people myself. But used the Vengeance for its fancy looks that go very well with the 'wow' factor of a gaming PC.
Thank you for showing interest in this article and supporting my blog.....keep visiting :)
There are too many suggstions.Getting confused. I have decided to go for a motherboard from Biostar after receiving some rave reviews about the brand. Will that be helpful?
ReplyDeleteBiostar is fine you can opt for it.
DeleteJust make sure that the model that you are picking up has all the slots that you need or may need in the future.

Thanks Vishvesh.Infact i keep learning from your Blog. Its a great experience.Okay then i will check on the high level products of Biostar. Also if you could identify the issues they have in the lower range might help.Since i am also writing a article on the usability of mobos its important for me to identify various brands and understand their pros ande cons.
ReplyDeleteA general problem with Biostar has been that in the budget section you don't get all the functions that you might expect from any other brand's mobo in the same price slot like Gigabyte, Asus or even MSI. They have a basic BIOS so you can't tweak up many things, not very good while over-clocking or even has slot deficiencies sometimes.
DeleteBut then it all comes down to a particular model so if you want to write a review then pick up a piece model wise and not by a brand as a whole. Use it personally yourself or any way you can and then come down to a decision.
Thank you for visiting and its great to know that you like my blog so much, do leave a comment if you have any further doubts.
Oh great thanks so much. And yes its not only Biostar but i will be writing about brands and a generic piece as a whole.
ReplyDeleteNo problems, happy to help you and would be looking forward to read your article.
DeleteKeep visiting.
Well iam planning to assemble a desktop for mid range gamin.....budget is 30k....is this config as follow good enough
ReplyDeleteI5 processor
crosair vengeance 4gb ram
Gainward nvidia geforce gtx 650 1gb gddr5
gigabyte ga-b75m mb
cooler master thunder 450 w psu
wd cavier green 1tb
this is what I have so far
what cabinet do u suggest for the configuration .....no need of monitor or mouse or speaker or such....but is there anything important I left out in the config....if so do help
the configuration is fine but make sure that the processor is an intel i5 3570k or above anything below that is not recommended if others are out of your budget then go for the AMD 8350 instead as its an extremely competent processor and future proof aswell.
Deleteno you haven't left out anything and buy any cabinet from a good company like Coolermaster, NZXT or Thermalake, it will depend on your choice and budget these brands make really durable cabinets. You can even visit here for further guidance on the same:
http://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/05/best-gaming-cabinet-under-rs-5000.html
sir my budget is around 30000 i have monitor and other things
ReplyDeletebut for the processor i would like a intel processor and nvidia graphics can tou plz suggest a good configuration and atleast 6gb ram bcoz my main aim is gaming only
Processor: Intel Core i5-3570
DeleteMotherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61M-DS2 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB
GPU: Galaxy NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 1 GB GDDR5
In your budget you'll have to stretch a bit more to accommodate an Intel processor as nothing less than the i5 3570 is good enough for running any games these days.
RAM of this quality is fine with 4GB even you can run all the games without any lag at any setting. A local RAM with more memory is not recommended.
If you have any further doubts then feel free to leave a comment.
I'm planing to assemble a pc( only CPU ). I have selected the following . .
ReplyDeleteFX 6300 . .
Gigabyte GA 970 ds3 . .
G.skill ripjawsx 4gB . .
Sapphire HD 7750 DDR5 . .
LG Internal Optical Drive . .
wd caviar blue 500GB . .
Cooler Master K281 . .
Is it good or I should make some changes plz help me . .
If you have a budget of around Rs30-35K then this is surely a very nice config, almost same as that I've mentioned above.
DeleteAll the parts are good just make sure to add a good PSU of around 500W or more if possible to it for proper and safe functioning of your components.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Yes my budget is around 30k . . Later if I upgrade the processor to fx 8350 or 9000 series will this motherboard support it or should I change the motherboard ?
ReplyDeleteNo this motherboard for intel is just for intel with a 1155 socket type the AMD FX series supports the AM3+ socket type so you'll have to change the mobo.
DeleteFeel free to ask any further questions.
Hello. Need some help. I purchased products as specified above. Details are -
ReplyDeletePower Supply - cooler master 400 watt
Cabinet - cooler master K350
Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
Processor - AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6300
RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 - 4GB
Now my problem is that after assembling it, cpu fan starts, graphic card fan starts but computer won't start. No beeps even when I removed RAM. Got motherboard replaced but same symptoms.
Tried with SMPS of my earlier computer...same symptoms. Can you please guide me about how to proceed now?
Thanks in advance.
Follow the steps below, they might help you:
Delete1- Check for proper cable connections, you may be having some loose connection or even a connection to the wrong port.
2- If you won't put the RAM in your mobo the beep will not come anyways as it signifies that all the components are in the right place and working properly. So put your RAM module back in.
3- Have you checked for the correct connection and choice of the graphic output slot, like VGA or HDMI. Your system might be powering up but the display must not be coming due to a loose/wrong wire connection.
Try getting it checked from a local support as its a hardware problem which can only be resolved 'easily' in person and not like this.
Thank you
Forgot to mention Graphic Card - Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR5
ReplyDeleteDon't worry the components are compatible so that's not a problem.
Deletehello.i m planning to assemble a pc around 40-43k..plz suggest me somethng best for gaming( including monitor)
ReplyDeleteThe above configuration will remain the same just change a few parts:
ReplyDeleteProcessor- AMD 3.5 GHz AM3+ FX 8320 8 Core Piledriver Processor
RAM- Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (4+4)
Graphic Card- ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2 GB GDDR5
Monitor can be Dell IN1930 18.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor, its a bit over your budget but worth it. You won't complain about anything for at-least 5years to come and can run all the games in the market including BF4 at high setting without any hick ups.
Feel free to ask any further questions if you have any.
I was thinking od suggesting Kingston RAM the Hyper X Blue..do u agree?
DeleteYou have suggested me this RAM module for the 7th time and for the 8th time I'll say that yes you can use it even there is no harm in using a Kingston Hyper Blue.
Deletesuggest me a good mobo & psu included in my above budget..also thinkng of a dell 2250L 21.5 led monitor in that budget...what to do
ReplyDeleteThe mobo will remain the same as above, Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 and the PSU should be Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU. It willl provide you with ample power.
DeleteBuy it if you want there is no harm but then you will have to cut down on your other components like the processor or the GPU, this means you'll have a better looking system rather than a better performing system.
Its all up to your taste tell me if i can do anything more for helping you out.
just lower the gpu or cpu a bit...but of similar performance..thank you
DeleteThe CPU is the cheapest in that performance category and same is with the GPU......
ReplyDeleteGet the FX 6300 instead if you like but keep the GPU ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2 GB GDDR5 for the optimum performance.
This way it will fit your budget along with the monitor that you want to have.
CPU Configurations on BioStar TA790GX 128M HELP PLEASE!!!!????
ReplyDeletethis is a very old board you've got but still for your CPU i suggest that you pick either of the AMD Phenom or Athlon 64 X2. These are the best processors out there using the AM2+ socket type.
DeleteThe Athlon is the best and more reliable though.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Sir I will be playing games like Dota 2, battlefield 4,crysis, at high settings can you suggest a proper build for ₹35000....excluding monitor, mouse, keyboard, ups.
ReplyDeleteYou can just upgrade the graphic card to Palit NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650/2GB 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card and if you want just add another RAM stick of 2GB for maintaining the balance with games like Battlefiel4, i recommend the Corsair DDR3 2 GB (1 x 2 GB) PC RAM (VS2GB1333D3)
DeleteRest of the configuration will remain the same as i've mentioned above in the article.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
I too want to understand a proper build for games like Dota 2,Barttlefield etc..any config will be of help and thanks for the article. Its of much help:)
DeleteDOTA 2 doesn't require a special build its a very light on system game.
DeleteAs for Ballefield you can use any Intel Core2Duo/ AMD Athelon processor build or above yes games like Battlefield 3 and 4 do require you to have a proper build that can handle heavy processing as they love processing cores, so a quad-core processor is recommended.
The config in this article is well enough for Battlefield and other games of the same level.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Hello Sir,
ReplyDeleteI bought what you suggested, been 2weeks and its awesome its a gem Thank you so much.
I have one question from my friend he bought a graphics card Asus Nvidia 210 1gb and a ddr2 ram 2gb, since he is low on budget he wants to know if he can upgrade the motherboard to atleast a 3.3ghz or 3.0, and a monitor aswell 21.5", he wants to upgrade his pc without compromising on the graphics card and ram he bought lol...kinda a funny for me...plz help him Sir :)
One more thing the current processor he has is Conroe 1333-d667 dual channel Asrock
DeleteHappy to know that you are satisfied with your system do share its pic with us on our Facebook page.
DeleteYour friend actually wants to upgrade his processor if I'm getting your question correctly as a motherboard has nothing to do with clock-speeds that are measured in Ghz. So I suggest that he gets a Intel 3 GHz LGA 775 Dual Core E5700 Processor, its still available in the market and apt for your friend.
As for the monitor go for Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor , its cheap and very good at performance.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
What kind of Motherboard would I need if I chose one large Video card( r9 280 or 290), and i5 3350p or 3570k, and a 1TB hardrive and no ssd? Any suggestions would be helpful.
ReplyDeleteChoose anything that you like the selection of a motherboard depends only only the type of processor that you plan to use, in your case its the 3350/3570K which uses a LGA 1155 port so choose the board that has that slot, also factors like how many GPUs you want to use and over-clocking affect your selection to some extent.
DeleteGive me your budget for the mobo and I'll tell you the specific model to go for.
The budget for my mobo is 20,000 so which mobo do i go for?Asus,Gigabyte or Biostar?
ReplyDeleteYou have a decent budget to spend on the mobo so I recommend nothing but the best. Go for ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX Motherboard if you are planning to use a AMD processor with a AM3+ slot belonging to the Bulldozer or the Piledriver series or you can buy the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard if you plan to go for a Intel processor supporting the LGA 1155/1150 slot.
DeleteFeel free to ask any further questions.
please suggest me a gaming pc under 25000rs or 2.5k including monitor
ReplyDeletei have tite budget
not possible as ant PC in this budget will not have a good processor with enough in-build graphics like the Intel HD graphics that can compensate for an external graphic card which is obviously out of your budget as you want a monitor included in it.
Deleteplease extend your budget till 30K or atleast by a few more thousands if you want a gaming PC and not just a PC.
feel free to ask any further questions.
mmm...... i have built this pc please correct me if i m wrong
ReplyDeleteprocessor : amd fx6300 rs 7500
ram : 4gb rs 1900
mobo : giga byte 78lmt-s2 :rs 3000
gpu : nvidia 9400gs or 210 1gb or hd 5670 ( i already have this gpu's )
cabinet : zebronic beast with psu of 450w rs 1600
moniter : led 18.5 inch rs 6500
dvd : lg rs 900
hdd : 500 gb seaget rs 3100
all including rs goes to 23000 with discaunt i will get it to 23000
this rig is enough for gaming
i have another question i will ask you in next time
The issues with the config is:
Delete1. The RAM is not of a very good brand so you will face lagging issues in future with games like Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3. Get either Corsaire, Ripjaw or Kingston which have higher rates of upto 1600Mhz.
2. The GPU is quite outdated and considering the games that have come up lately including NFS rivals you will face serious lag issues, so upgrade it. the driver support from Nvidia for this 210 series has stopped so latest drivers are no longer available.
3. When you plan to upgrade you components do get a more powerful PSU as 450W is enough for now but is almost on the borderline.
rest is fine just keep a check on the components that i've mentioned as you may feel a bit unsatisfied in near future.
ok i will .............
ReplyDeletebut is this 1600mhz ram compatible with my mbo
and about gpu i will manage..........
and about psu i will buy 550w
thanx ....
and one more question i m fan of wwe latest games so by this rig i will be albe to play with dolphin emulater
i would add a corsiare 4gb ram
thanx agian i have more questions well next time
Yes it is buy atleast the Kingston Hyper X blue as you are on budget but Corsair i only recommend Vengeance as it meets all the gaming standards.
DeleteI don't think so as WWE games are all designed for consoles and the architecture of a console is very much different than that of a PC processor wise especially. It would be extremely uncomfortable and risky to do so. Try it on your own risk.
This article may help you understand it to some extent:
http://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/06/console-ram-vs-pc-ram.html
Thank you for visiting.
I presently have asus m2n68+. Amd athlon x2. Sapphire ati radeon hd5670 2gb ddr2 ram. Recently my mb has problem sound is comming in one channel. Since its 4yrs old thinking of upgrading but confused how to go abt. I mean to dump existing mobo, ram and go latest one or select latest mb which supports my existing processor and ram pls advice.
ReplyDeleteIt all depends actually, you have a processor which is fine enough if you are a normal user with low to medium usage.
DeleteIn that case you should just upgrade your motherboard to one that can support your existing processor and long with that get a new DDR3 RAM module.
But if you plan to use your computer for heavy duty task like high end gaming or rendering then buy a mobo that will support the AM3+ socket for AMD processors as this is the future of AMD now with the Piledriver series and hopefully the upcoming Excavator series using the same or with a LGA 1155 socket for intel processors, these will obviously support the ongoing DDR3 RAM modules and after-wards or if your budget permits upgrade your graphic card as-well to the HD7XXX series or GTX series.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
My usage is normal with ocassional gaming and more of movies. Please sugest me gud mb for my existing processor and shld support my graphics card and new sound card too. Is there such new mb which can also support my old procesor so that in future i just need to upgrade new processor
DeleteConsidering your Processor type I'm suggesting you three options in my personal preference order:
DeleteGigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 Motherboard
ASUS M4N68T-M LE V2 Motherboard
All the above have a very good audio output so you may not feel the need of an extra sound card installation.
Yes these motherboards will support the new AM3+ socket type processors so stay rest assured.
Hello Vishvesh,
ReplyDeleteThis post has turned out to be a great thread for me because it has helped me to decide on the components i want.My queries are as follows
1) I plan to assemble a P.C soon.Is it possible for a naive like me to assemble on my own looking into Youtube videos ?
2) I am mostly into academics and use softwares like MATLAB ,AutoCad ,Adobe photoshop etc. So AMD or Intel . Also what kind of RAM ?
3)I have seen MATLAB lagging in my friends laptop with AMD A8(4500M) processor. Is this the case for AMD processor ? If yes suggest an alternative in Intel
4) Also gaming is not a priority for me,as i am an occasional gamer but running softwares has to be very smooth without lags
5)My rig is as follows:
**Processor - AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 or AMD 4 GHz AM3+ FX-4300 FX-Series Four-Core Edition
**RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB
**MoBo -Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
**Graphics - Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR3 Graphics Card (DDR3)
**Hard Drive - WD Caviar Blue 500 GB Desktop Internal Hard Drive
******I want your suggestion for cabinet as i cant find your mentioned cabinet which has gone out of stock. Also will a cabinet include a cooling fan and PSU ?? Or do i need to buy them separately ? No worries abt other parts like Keyboard,Mouse,Monitor, speakers******
Happy to know that my blog is of some help to you.
DeleteI'll answer to your query point wise so:
1- You can but that rarely works out as the insides of a computer consists of really delicate parts that shouldn't be fiddled with, consult a professional for the assembling part.
2- Intel or AMD both will do in your case, they all are mainly single thread applications so it will all come down to your budget and preference.
3- The A8 is not even a conventional processor its a APU, i didn't review the AMD A series 'coz of its more fallbacks rather than merits. The AMD processors are really smooth in handling graphic intensive tasks so go for the AMD FX 8350 if your budget allows you to. This will not give you any space to complaint in any task that you will throw at it.
Cabinets do come built-in with a PSU but are not good enough in terms of heavy wattage. Buy a Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet which comes with two pre-installd fans for additional cooling support and buy a Corsair VS650 650 as you'll need 650W of power to future proof your system. This will give you enough room for future installations if you'll feel like.
Feel free to ask any further question.
Hi Vishvesh,
DeleteThanks for replying to my query.
I actually didnt mention but i am on a budget of 30000(max) and the cabinet and psu mentioned wouldnt suffice my budget.
Can you suggest an alternative ?
Also what do you think about my choice of components?
Then you can opt for the AMD FX 6300 instead its fine processor indeed that can handle all your tasks with ease.
DeleteYou should stick to the same PSU that I've told you as a branded power supply is must to safe guard your components, though you can change the cabinet and buy any-one from manufacturers like Intex, Zebronics or iBall. The main functional part of your configuration should be your power supply. You can ask me about any other brands PSu as well I'll reply back on their reputation and reliability factor.
Your choice of components is perfect there is nothing to change in that considering your work and choice of programs.
Feel free to comment back.
Does anyone know if any of the Celeron 1037U motherboards are actually available for purchase? I'm finding quite a few listings with manufacturers, but I can't find any retailers that actually sell them. :(
ReplyDeleteyes they are....its a very compact motherboard size hence named as Mini-ITX form factor.
Deleteyou can either buy a discrete motherboard or a a mini-itx pc that comes with all the components installed and connectivity ports like UBS and HDMI available, kind of a dwarf CPU.
The motherboards available are:
GIGABYTE GA-C1007UN-D
BIOSTAR NM70I-1037U
ECS NM70-TI/1037U
Jetway NC9Q-1037
Foxconn D70S-P or D70S-PD

Thanks so much Vishvesh for your help...I will keep these in mind.
ReplyDeleteanytime, nice to know that my answer helped you out.

ReplyDeleteCan you suggest a moderate gaming configuration within 30 -35 K. I have an old rig with Asus M2N68AM PLUS and AMD Athlon II x 240,2.8 MHz processor. I had 2 x DDR2 Zion 800 2Gb of which one is damaged now. Zebronics 400W psu and Seagate 500Gb HDD. Monitor Dell 20" LED (purchased 7 months back).
If you want a configuration which is all new then the above mentioned configuration should be your choice. if you want an alternate to any part then feel free to ask.
DeleteBut if you want to salvage something out of your old rig and combine it with some new and advance parts then ask me accordingly.
Thank you so much for such a quick reply. I am studying some of the interesting configurations listed here. I hope that I would be able to get a workable config in my context in about a weeks time.
ReplyDeleteSure you can I've put out a variety of combinations on the blog already, would post a few more soon.
DeleteYou can ask me for any help if you feel like.
Best of luck for your build.
Hey Vishvesh what would be your feedback on these two models from Biostar?
ReplyDeleteH61MLV3, NM70i-1037U, H81MLC
First these are three different mobos and not two.
DeleteThe H61MLV3 and H81MLC are of the same generation supporting the intel 3rd gen processors. The H61MLV3 is superior than the latter due to its extra features like an extra PCI-E x16 3.0 Slot whereas the other features are of no good so nothing to explain about them.
The NM70i-1037U is a celeron generation mobo which is now outdated and only good for basic CPUs for little or no work load at all.
PS I've noticed that your questions are all about Biostar and its allied products, why is that may i know? Its not a paid blog that will favour a particular brand so any promotion from my side should rather not be expected.
Hi, does Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 motherboard support crossfire?
ReplyDeleteyes it does support ATI Hybrid CrossFireX.
DeleteHi, Vishvesh your blog is very help full. But I want to know which CPU is best for gaming AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor or Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor And also suggest me Motherboard, Memory, Video Card, Case, hard drive, DVD under 30000Rs or u help me to upgrade my PC, Giga-Byte GA-G41MT-ES2L Motherboard CPU- Intel Core 2 duo E7500 @ 2.93 GHz, 2133 MHz, 2 Core, ram- DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 PC3-10600, DDR3 (non-ECC) 2GB, Hard disk ST3500418AS 500GB, no Video Card. for gaming.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words.
DeleteI will answer your questions point wise:
1- Your old computer is only having the HDD and RAM as usable parts as the motherboard and processor are out dated an will not help you in gaming at all.
2- I've already posted an article which compares the performance of both the AMD FX 8350 and the i5 3570K:
http://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/06/intel-core-i5-3570k-vs-amd-fx-8350.html
The 4670K is not much different from the 3570K in performance, if you ask me personally then i prefer the AMD FX 8350 over the i5 series.
3- The configuration above enlists all the pasrts that you have asked for, please go through them and ask me back if you have any doubts regarding anything related to them.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Hi, Vishvesh Thank you for your valuable opinion now I’m going for AMD FX 8350. Plz help me for ASSEMBLING A GAMING PC like, what kind of Motherboard, Memory, Video Card, Case, hard drive, DVD, good cooling system under 25000Rs & I have no problem next 4 or 5 years. IN upcoming Sunday I buy this in Nehru Place market.. I have already Monitor, mouse, keyboard.
ReplyDeleteFor a gaming PC I've already written a guide:
Deletehttp://vishveshtech.blogspot.in/2013/10/guide-on-building-gaming-pc.html
Lets answer your query briefly then:
1- Motherboard: It should be of a reliable brand like Gigabyte, ASUS etc and should have a good transfer speed of at-least 6GB/sec
Suggested model Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
2- Memory: You mean RAM at-least 4-8GB is recommended for your set-up.
Suggested model Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM
3- Video Card: A DDR5 GPU is recommended so go for MSI NVIDIA N650-2GD5/OC 2 GB GDDR5 Graphics Card
4- HDD: Go for a good brand like WD or Seagate, recommended model WD Blue WD10EZEX 1 TB Internal Hard Drive
5- DVD: LG GH24NS71/GH24NS72/GH24NS95 Internal Optical Drive
6- Case: Buy any case with pre-installed fans and support for additional fans in future. Pair it with a good power supply from a company like CoolerMaster or Corsair. It should be atleast 500W.
Hi, Vishvesh Thank you again.
ReplyDeleteI’m going for this assembling.
1. CPU - AMD FX 8350.
2. Motherboard – ASUS M5A97-970.
3. RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4GB.
4. GPU - ATI 7750 1GB DDR5 SAPPHIRE.
5. HDD – 1 TB SATA WD Caviar Black.
Tell me This is ok.
Yes all these components are good to go with each-other. Just make sure that you install a reliable PSU into your rig so as to keep all your components safe and in their top notch performance status.
DeleteHi, Vishvesh Thank you. which PSU or Case.
ReplyDeletePSU should be Corsair VS650 650 Watt
DeleteCabinet can be any one that you like, its all up to your budget and taste.
i am planing to assemble a pc( only CPU ). I have selected the following . .
ReplyDeleteFX 8350 . .
asus M5A97 LE R 2.0 Motherboard .
Sapphire HD7750 DDR5
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM
wd 1TB .
Cooler Master elite 342
Cooler Master Thunder 450W
Cooler master 212 Hyper EVo or else
Is it good or I should make some changes plz help me - - See more at:
Everything is fine and doesn't need any replacements, just have an issue with the PSU 450W is not recommended for this combination of GPU and CPU especially. Buy atleast 500W or 650W PSU if possible.
DeleteFeel free to ask any further questions.
Nice post with awesome points! Can’t wait for the next one.
ReplyDeleteDell - Inspiron 15.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - Moon Silver (15RMT10001SL)

DeletePLZ SIR HELP ME OUT
ReplyDeletemy budget is 24k max
I only want processor
ram
psu
and motherboard
Processor should be amd fx series 8 core cpu
I want to play watch dogs :)
Any graphic card u suggest under 7k to play these game atleast at medium settings
graphic card is not included in this budget
thanx in advance....
Here is the recommended config
DeleteMobo: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB
Processor: AMD FX 8350
PSU: Corsair VS650 650 Watt
As for the graphic card you should only buy the Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R7 250 with Boost 1 GB DDR5 under 7K.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Thnx sir was really helpful...
DeleteBut am nt okay with gigabyte motherboards cn u replace it by msi or asrock or any other
Then I have two options for you:
DeleteASUS M5A97 LE Motherboard
ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard
The MSI mobo in this price category is not as good as the ones I've mentioned above and as for Asrock I really don't recommend them with any processor especially and AMD one as its a bit heat sensitive and causes problem in the long run.
But still you can buy ASRock 960GC-GS FX Motherboard if you like.
Any further questions are welcome
MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard
DeleteI hav found this above mb tell me if its not good
Its a very good motherboard just as expected from MSI but not in this range and especially with your processor combo.
Deleteits does not support 120W processors meaning that you will never be able to use your planned FX 8350 at its full potential, all the 8 cores will work but not at full frequency and under 0.9W TDP so it makes your processor redundant.
the other things are good about this motherboard except for the fact that it doesn't come with a VGA or HDMI slot means you need to buy your graphic card along with the whole setup as there is no on-board graphic memory.
buy it only if you are a hardcore MSI fan or won't be using your processor to full load.
Thnx sir u helped me alot
DeleteNw am goin to build this rig with gigabye as u suggested thnx...
Anytime and I'm happy that i was of some help to you.

I heard that intel has hyperthreading technology means 2 cores act like 4 core during extreme load is it true¿
ReplyDeleteand amd doesnt have this technology so I gives performance on available cores?
This were my doubts plz clear it
thnx in advance....
Yes its true but this is applicable to only the high range processors of Intel like the i5 or the i7 the basic i3 doesn't come with the hyper-threading technology.
DeleteAMD on the other hand has processors with upto 8-cores, unlike intels's standard 4-core processors, giving it a slight edge over Intel processor in a field or two but the i7 is still to be beaten by any processor of its range.
Go for AMD if you are on budget or choosing a Intel i5 as the equivalent FX 6300 in the lower range and the FX 8300 in the upper range by AMD are much better.
You can read many such comparisons on my blog under the Optimizations>Processors tab.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Iam gonna buy amd fx6300

Sir, i want to asseble a good gaming pc under 30000 exclude keyboard and mouse. Please help
ReplyDeleteThe configuration mentioned above in the article is for a best gaming pc that you can get under 30K INR, it will run all the applications and games that you desire to including battlefield4 and crysis3 at medium to high settings.
DeleteThis is excluding keyboard, mouse, monitor and other peripherals....please feel free to ask me any questions if you have any regarding the same.
Which is better for normal work amd or intel?
DeleteIntel for normal working which includes basic home/office usage and light gaming.
DeleteI'll give you a precise answer if you can elaborate on your usage and expectations from your system.
I want to assemble computer with intel.
Deleteplease give me configuration with a intel processor
to accommodate an Intel processor that can perform heavy tasks is really tough but you can try this config:
DeleteIntel Core i5-2310
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Motherboard
Now you can either degrade on your RAM and buy Kingston Hyper X DDR3 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) PC RAM or some other brand that you can fetch locally from your vendor at cheap rates but it should be atleast 4GB.
Other things will remain same as above.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
Please give me suggestions for a monitor
DeleteEither the Dell S2240L 21.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor or the Dell E1914H 18.5 inch LED Backlit LCD Monitor
Deletehey i want to buy a high end gaming desktop. my budget is 140,000. i like alienware but can i get better performance at the same price ?
ReplyDeleteThe alienware is a good choice in this budget but i won't recommend it as you can get better performance through a properly assembled desktop.
DeleteFor your budget here is the config:
Processor: Intel 3.7 GHz LGA 2011 i7 4820K 4th Generation
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3
PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro M2 1000W
RAM: Corsair Dominator DDR3 12 GB (3 x 4 GB)
HDD: Corsair Force Series GS 128 GB SSD and WD AV-GP 2 TB HDD
GPU: You basically have two options---
1.Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270X Toxic Boost 2 GB DDR5, Use this in CrossfireX ie dual GPU
2.Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 290 TRI-X OC 4 GB DDR5
Choose according to your preference and style.
Cabinet: NZXT Phantom 410 Series
Optical Drive: LG WH14NS40 Blu-ray Burner Internal Optical Drive
I've skipped monitor and keyboard/mouse as they depend on your personal preference tell me what exactly do you want in them and i'll suggest you accordingly by making a few adjustments in less significant parts.
why don't you suggest him intel i7 4770k (LGA 1150)?
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely no harm in using the Intel i7 4770K but i suggested him the Intel 4820K for the simple reasons stated below:
Delete1. He is serious about his hardware, look at his budget, the 4770K is good but not the best if you compare the whole package of its cache memory and the mobo that it comes along.
2. The 4820K is very much faster for 3D and video editing work, the games of today sure are demanding more and more graphic and processing power which means that the extra 3D support along with its more cache memory per core will keep this configuration future proof.
3. Soon everyone would need more RAM and the 4820K is a quad-channel processor unlike the 4770K meaning that another 4GB stick in the future will give him more performance out of his rig in less investment.
4. The 4820K is faster aswell which means no need for over-clocking your processor for a long time atleast.
5. This is insignificant but keeping in mind the market of today it will support more of RAM ie 64GB so just in case you need to make a war horse out of your rig he'll be the guy to do it with no more processor replacements.
But if he'll want then I'll lower down the processor and obv the mobo to suit and match his requirements and budget.
Thank you for visiting and taking interest in my blog.

DeleteIncase i want more cooling how many fans do it support?
DeleteIt all depends on your cabinet, but every cabinet has support for two extra fans, one at the back and one on the side plate.
DeleteAn extra fan of 120mm at the back is enough for most cases.
Will this setup need any extra fans or stock cpu fans are enough(i m not going to overlock)
ReplyDeletean extra 120mm fan at the back of the cabinet would be recommended but you'll be fine without it even, its all upto your choice and preferences.

ReplyDeleteDo intel still produces pentinum 4 or they are still being sold by computer vendors.?
Just had a doubt and i asked it plz clear it
No the Pentium 4 is a discontinued product and has been replaced by its successors.
DeleteThe vendors still selling them are just clearing away the dead stock so its highly recommended that you don't buy them.
