I get a lot of questions every now and then regarding Gaming PC configurations and out of the lot I've observed that a Gaming PC configuration under Rs 50000 is what most of you want and look for. So to make things easier for you aswell as for me to some extent today I'll be posting a Gaming PC configuration for under Rs 50K which will sail you across easily for the next year and a half atleast before asking for a major upgrade, mostly in the graphics card division. Before compiling this configuration I've kept a few key points in mind which I would like to enlist first -
ADATA is a well known brand in the field of memory modules and the XPG Z1 series is nothing less than impressive due to its great balance of price with performance. I'm recommending a 16GB kit of two 8GB sticks for maximum performance in dual channel configuration since for gaming these days 16Gb is recommended to keep the build future proof. Clocked in at 2800Mhz CL17 this red colored wing shaped RAM is something that not only performs but also makes the entire setup look good. It runs cool and runs at the rated frequencies with Ryzen platform making it a good choice for the price.
Now this is what I think is the best Gaming PC configuration for around Rs 50K but if you think that I've missed upon something or you have suggestions for improvement or even queries regarding the same then feel free to drop a comment below. Also as a note in case you can stretch your budget by a bit then opt for the Kingston A400 240GB SSD for Rs 6,700 to reap the maximum potential of this build with not only faster boot time but also lesser load time while gaming.
- The build should be future proof and should last the user for over a year or two without any upgrade.
- It should run all the existing and upcoming titles at 1080p resolution with respectable settings.
- Upgrade should be easy and economical with minimum change of components.
- It should be balanced over all with all the components in sync & at par without overpowering or under-powering others.
CPU - AMD RYZEN 3 1300X Rs 10,200
Considering the ongoing scenario in the gaming industry a quad core processor is a must for a competent gaming build and for that I recommend the AMD Ryzen 3 1300X for this build. Coming from the very impressive line of Ryzen CPUs from AMD the R3 1300X is clocked in at 3.5Ghz and comes with four cores-four threads making it the obvious choice here. As a bonus it comes bundled with the Wraith Spire cooler aswell saving you the extra cost of an after market cooler.Motherboard - ASUS PRIME B350M-A Rs 6,500
The Asus Prime B350M-A is a great motherboard for this build based on the B350 chipset. With four DIMM slots it comes with ample of USB ports to run all the latest generation devices easily with a few to spare the motherboard is well equipped with quality components for long lasting consistent performance. The motherboard even supports onboard USB 3.0 ports and has the Realtek ALC887 high definition audio CODEC to support upto 8 channels.RAM - ADATA XPG Z1 2800Mhz 16GB (8+8) Rs 12,000
ADATA is a well known brand in the field of memory modules and the XPG Z1 series is nothing less than impressive due to its great balance of price with performance. HDD - Western Digital 1TB Blue Rs 3,300
Since we are building a PC it is quite obvious that you would be watching movies and listening to music aswell along with downloading a bunch of other stuff from the internet so we need a HDD here for which we’ll go with the Western Digital Blue 1TB for its long line of trusted quality and service which it offers at a very reasonable price. The 1TB HDD spins at 7200RPM so you won’t feel it slowing down or spoiling your experience even while loading large games or if you play a multi-GB BluRay rip over your monitor or TV due to slow load/buffer time.Graphics Card - Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC 4G Rs 12,200
One of the most gorgeous looking cards in the market for this segment, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC and mind the OC here as there is a slower and less attractive non-OC versions of the same aswell so don’t get yourself confused. It comes overclocked out of the box and is very competent for 1080p gameplay of every title in the market today and with the tweaking app that it comes with one can easily increase the frequency of the card a bit more with just a click to squeeze out extra performance just in case required.PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W Rs 2,900
For less than Rs 3K the Antec VP500PC 500W PSU is more than you need for this configuration leaving enough headroom for a few extra components or upgrades that you might want to add in or do in future without changing the PSU for extra wattage or more reliable performance. The PSU is vastly compatible, extremely reliable and has good number of connectors with long wires for easy installation all build with a dual rail 500W power supply.Case - Antec P8 Case Rs 5000
The P8 from Antec is one of their latest cabinets in the segment and is very well designed keeping both looks and cooling in mind. The case features a full tempered glass side window to peek inside your setup while sporting three 120mm white LED fans out of the box, one at the back and two in the front. Even though the case is quite compact it still supports ample of liquid cooling options if you want to go for one in future along with top vents for both radiator mount or simply fans for intake or exhaust offering maximum cooling options. Now this is what I think is the best Gaming PC configuration for around Rs 50K but if you think that I've missed upon something or you have suggestions for improvement or even queries regarding the same then feel free to drop a comment below. Also as a note in case you can stretch your budget by a bit then opt for the Kingston A400 240GB SSD for Rs 6,700 to reap the maximum potential of this build with not only faster boot time but also lesser load time while gaming.
hey vishvesh
ReplyDeletecan you please tell the best substitute for this motherboard as it is not available from where i am gonna buy(other than asus mobos)
Hello,
DeleteWell you can either go for the Gigabyte GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 or the MSI B350M PRO-VDH motherboards in case the one I've mentioned is not available to you. You'll get similar features and performance with these two aswell.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
hello vishvesh
ReplyDeletecan you please suggest a good gaming monitor for this build.(around 7.5k)
Hello,
DeleteExtremely sorry for the late reply as my net has been dead for a week now.
For this budget I suggest you get the Dell 21.5inch LED Monitor E2218HN which is a full HD monitor with TN panel and 3 HDMI connectors along with 3 years of warranty.
how are u bro,
ReplyDeletecan you please tell a substitute for the cabinet in the same price range.
Hello,
DeleteYes you can go for the Cooler Master MasterBox MB500 mi-tower gaming case instead of the mentioned above. It comes with three MasterFan Air Flow 120 RGB fans and a RGB controller along with a full tempered glass side panel and PSU shroud.
You can check its review here for more details -

yo bro.
ReplyDeletesince u have written this post in jan and i am gonna buy the config in may(next month). so are there any changes in the above config that should be made? budget is same.
Hey!
DeleteWell you can add an extra 3K for the graphics card the GTX 1050 Ti costs around 15K minimum, also the CPU has come down to around (k so that's a cost saver. Also if you like you can swap the cabinet with a Corsair SPEC-04 to balance out the whole pricing as its for around 3.2K right now. Rest everything is same and no change is component is required.
how r u
ReplyDeleteplease tell from where can i get windows for this rig for cheapest price..
thanks in advance
Hello,
DeleteI'm doing just fine, thank you.
Well you can get yourself an OEM key for Windows 10 either online through any trusted website or can ask for it to a shopkeeper locally to source you one.
Try this link with a seller who's providing one, its still a bit expensive then it should be but quite cheaper than what a full fledged key would cost you -

hey there,
ReplyDeletecan you please suggest a intel and nvidia build in the same budget(50k)?
thanks in advance
Hello,
DeleteSure if you want an Intel and Nvidia build then you can go for the following -
CPU - Intel Core i3-8100 Rs 8,400
Motherboards - Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Rs 6,400
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws V 16gb (2X8) Rs 12,600
Graphics Card - ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition 4GB Rs 16,400
HDD - Western Digital 1TB Blue Rs 3,300
Case - CM MasterBox MB500 Rs 5,500
PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W Rs 2,900
This is around 5K over your 50K budget since the prices of RAM and Graphics Card have jumped up drastically mainly that of the graphics card so if you cannot stretch the budget then go for a single 8GB RAM for around 6K right now and add another 8GB stick when you have the funds.
Feel free to ask any further questions.
which processor will be better for gaming? ryzen 1300x or i3 8100?
DeleteIf your purpose is solely gaming then the Intel i3-8100 is the better option here as it will give you a bit more frame rate over the Ryzen 3 1300X with an identical graphics card.
Deletesorry to disturb you again and again. but i visited intel's official site and this motherboard isn't listed as compatible mobo with this i3 8100. please help.
DeleteI’m really sorry I mentioned a wrong motherboard in a hurry that day. The Intel Coffee Lake CPUs are only supported by the Z370 or the newer H370 and B360 PCH motherboards.
DeleteI suggest you get the MSI B360M Pro-VD as it’s almost priced identical to the one wrongly mentioned above or you can go for the Gigabyte B360M D3H by spending a grand more with four DIMM slots to help you in future expansion if needed.
hello vishvesh
ReplyDeletei want latest config for gaming. budget is around 50k(excluding monitor and ssd).
thanks in advance
Hello,
DeleteSure for a budget of around 50K you can go for the following if gaming is the only work that you intend to do on your PC -
CPU - Intel Core i3-8100 Rs 8,400
Motherboards - MSI B360M Pro-VD Rs 6,800
RAM - G.Skill Flare X 16GB (2X8) Rs 13,500
Graphics Card - ZOTAC GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition 4GB Rs 13,700
HDD - Western Digital 2TB Purple Rs 4,900
Case - CM MasterBox MB500 Rs 5,900
PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W Rs 2,900
This build would fit in your budget just fine and let you run most of the modern games at 1080p on medium to high settings with respectable frame rates. Feel free to ask any further questions.
Sir, in my area, I am not getting all the above mentioned Parts at a single place to assemble PC, Request you to kindly look into the following pricelist:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.costtocost.in/list/pricelist.pdf
and suggest please:
1. Pure gaming PC under Rs 50k
(I can add Normal HDD later, initially would like to add a SSD)
Please also suggest a monitor around 10k and a budget KB+M Gaming combo
for the above configuration
2. A pure gaming PC under 40 k with SSD
(HDD can be added later, monitor KB+M separate)
3.Does the Graphics card GTX 1050 Ti OC allows 4k output as well?
Hello,
DeleteThe prices quoted in that list is excluded of GST so I cannot comment what the final price would land down to so I'll give you a configuration using the parts mentioned in that list so you can find them there easily or if required a substitute of their too in case that particular part doesn't end up to be priced as expected or is out of stock.
1. For a Gaming PC under or around 50K the below will suffice -
CPU - AMD RYZEN 5 1600 Rs 12,700
Motherboards - MSI B350M PRO-VDH Rs 6,600
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400Mhz 16GB(2X8) Rs 11,200
Graphics Card - MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GAMING X 4G Rs 14,700
SSD - Kingston A400 Rs 3,200
Case - Antec DF500 Rs 3,450
PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W Rs 2,900
Now this is around 5K over your budget for the main machine but with a AMD R5 1600 you get 6C/12T which will keep your system future proofed for long over any of the Intel 8th Gen offering in form of the i3-8100 along with future upgradability option with the AM4 platform so, I'd suggest that the little extra spending is worth it.
2. For a 40K budget you should opt for the following build -
CPU - AMD RYZEN 3 1300X Rs 7,500
Motherboards - Asus Prime-A320M-K Rs 4,260
RAM - G.Skill Ripjaws V 2400Mhz 8GB(2X8) Rs 5,600
Graphics Card - MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti GAMING X 4G Rs 14,700
SSD - Kingston A400 Rs 3,200
Case - Antec DF500 Rs 3,450
PSU - Antec VP500PC 500W Rs 2,900
3. Yes the GTX 1050 Ti will support 4K display output but don't expect to game with it, its only good for light work loads, multimedia consumption and streaming purposes on that resolution.
As for a monitor in the 10K range you should go for the LG 22MP68VQ-P 22' IPS monitor which is well withing that range and for the keyboard and mouse combo a Cooler Master MasterKeys Lite L combo or if want separately then get the Gigabyte Force K81 keyboard and the Logitech G300S mouse as that is also a decent combo with a marginal increase in price.
ThankT a lot, going for 50k build
DeleteHappy to be of help.
DeleteIf possible then share your build pics with me on my Facebook page, would love to see it.
