  1. yes thats true and especially in a country like India where broadband doesn't give such high speeds that easily or at cheap rates a data card is always a better option in terms of mobility as well as speed and economy.

      Yes its a good modem over all just a bit of issues with its interface and Windows 8.1 compatibility. You can either get it or the Huawei E303F/E303FH/E303FH-1 3G Data Card with Soft Wi-Fi which is in the same range and has identical features and also supports Windows 8.1 but just lacks on the warranty part which is 1year in contrast to 3years of the former.
