  6. I have a question to ask you...
I heard some rumor about Amd FX 6300 that some times it gets over heat and than it crushed....is that really true...?

    1. No thats not the case with any of the AMD processor range since the FX series or the old Athlon series.
The FX 6300 is a very stable processor working at 6-cores beating its nearest rival the Intel i3 in almost everything.
Just don't over clock it on the stock cooler or don't put it into a crammed unventilated cabinet or else it will surely over heat just like any other processor.

  7. I used the following config for my recent home PC build:

    AMD FX-4300 (4 Core, 4MB L2 + 4MB L3 Cache) @ 6.4K
    A88MQ @ 4K
    Kingston HyperX Blu DDR3 4 GB PC RAM (KHX1600C9AD3B1K2/4G) @ 2.7K
WD Caviar Blue 500GB SATA III 6 Gbps HDD @ 3K
    AOC 19.5 inch LED Backlit LCD - e2070Swnl @ 6.2K
    Sapphire R7 250X 1GB GDDR5 @ 7.8K
    Asus 24X SATA DVD R/W @ 1K

    It cost me approx 30K

    1. It's a decent built n will work fine for home usage.
I do have a concern though n it's not the storage space, you chose the FX 4300 over the FX 6300 n used the money in a monitor that's a bit bigger. The monitor should have been your last component to be concentrated upon but for basic yo moderate home usage you won't notice any significant difference.
Rest of the components are fine though I'm not sure about the PSU as you haven't mentioned it over here.
Thank you for sharing, do share your built n it's pic on my Facebook page.

    1. Sure you should use the following parts:
      Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H Motherboard
      G.Skill NT DDR3 4 GB
Cooler Master Elite 344 or the 311

You'll need a branded PSU with this configuration as well like the Corsair VS450 450 Watt to run everything smooth and safe for a long time.
Feel free to ask any further questions.

    2. Many thanks for your reply. Do you recommend Gigabyte MoBo over Intel MoBo ?

      Delete
    3. Gigabyte as it specializes in motherboard manufacturing, Intel does it just for the sake of providing support to its low end CPU chips. Moreover the support from Gigabyte is world class in terms of motherboards.
Buy a Gigabyte and you'll be fine.

  9. One more query ..which graphic card is better ...ATI Radeon R7 250 with boost 1 GB DDR5 or 2 GB DDR3 ? How about Intel' Mobo with integrated graphics ?
    Thanks

    1. Any DDR5 graphic card is always better than a DDR3 one due to high speed and more shader units.
The R7 250 is a very reliable and competent GPU which can handle any task thrown at it smoothly.
No no integrated GPU can match a discrete GPU like the R7 especially the on board motherboard GPUs are very low end graphic cards and can't do much and are just an added disappointment and additional cost factors.
Use the R7 250 you'll be much better of that way.

  10. Hey Vishvesh!
Firstly, great stuff.. Very helpful for dummies (like me) and pros.
Can you suggest me some case other than Cooler Master Elite 310 with 400W Power Supply Mid Tower Cabinet ?
A cool looking case with more than 3USB ports because I already have a mouse and a keyboard and both of them are USB.
Oh..and also with good power supply.
    Thank you!

    1. Thank you for the appreciation I'm happy that you liked it.
Yes sure, first of all good cabinet brands don't give PSU with their cabinets just the 310 has this facility so you'll be buying both of them separately in this case.
For a decent budget I suggest that you get the corsair spec 2 which is a very cool looking cabinet with enough expansion slots.
The no of USB ports depends on your motherboard a cabinet only has two or maximum three ports in front the back ports are motherboard dependent.
As I don't know your configuration so I'll suggest that you buy a humble corsair 500 or 550 watt power supply unit which is more than enough for any medium configuration.
Fell free to ask any further questions.

  11. Where can I order all these components?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. You can order all of these parts from any online store easily or can purchase them from your local market even.
These are quite normal and simple parts to buy.
Feel free to ask any further questions.

    2. But what about the power supply? And would you recommend nvidia gtx 730 ddr5 graphics card over the amd ddr5 graphics card?

      Delete
    3. I had not specified any particular PSU in this article as all the components are very power efficient and any PSu would handle them esily including those of Intex and Zebronics.
But if you are asking then I'll recommend the Corsair VS450 450 for this one.
The Nvidia GT 730 is at par with the AMD/ATI R7 240 and the R7 250, all are the 1GB DDR5 versions.
Its just more power efficient than the AMD counterparts but with a lower band width which for a casual gamer or anyone with mild graphical use is insignificant only at intensive load the difference is noticeable.
You can buy either of them but i recommend the R7 240 or the R7 250 over the GT 730 as you'll have enough power by this PSU.

    4. Is it necessary to add a power supply unit if I decide to buy a corsair vengeance ddr3 8gb ram? And which processor is better? Amd or Intel? And are the usb ports included in the article above?

      Delete
    5. You need a PSU to make any computer run its the component that you connect to the wall socket for power and it distributes the current to all the components inside.
Both are good but in the budget segment AMD is obviously better and if its for gaming or rendering purpose in a budget of less than 15K then AMD processors are obviously better.
USB ports are motherboard dependent and the cabinet dependent, the motherboard above has USB 3.0 aswell as USB 2.0 slots.

  12. Well, that was a foolish question... anyways thanks for clearing my doubts... One more question. Can you suggest a cheaper motherboard which can replace the one mentioned in the post?

    1. No problems it happens, I even used to ask such questions once.
for the Intel built a premium brand with lower price will be Gigabyte GA-H81M-S1 Motherboard for AMD this is the cheapest one I'll recommend as its most durable and reliable in that segment.
